Co-Curricular Activities

At Jiemin Primary School, Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are an important part of our students' holistic development. Through CCA, students discover their interests, develop their strengths and learn beyond the classroom.

We offer a diverse range of CCAs to cater to the varied interests and strengths of our Jieminites. These opportunities allow students to explore new areas, pursue their interests and experience the joy of learning and growing alongside their peers.

Growing Through CCA

CCA provides an authentic setting for students to develop our school values and important 21st Century Competencies (21CC). Through regular participation, students learn to communicate and collaborate with others, think critically and creatively, take responsibility and persevere through challenges.

Working towards individual and shared goals also helps students develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership, while building friendships and a stronger sense of belonging to the school.

Discovering Interests and Strengths

We believe that every student should have opportunities to discover what they enjoy and what they can grow to become. Through our range of CCAs, students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop their abilities and challenge themselves to improve.

Students may also have opportunities to deepen their skills, represent the school and experience the satisfaction of working with others towards excellence.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Ultimately, CCA is not only about developing skills in a particular activity. It is about developing the whole child.

Through the experiences, relationships and challenges that come with CCA participation, our Jieminites develop the values, character and 21CC to work effectively with others, navigate challenges and contribute meaningfully to their community.
