Seen and supported, we climb higher together
4 September 2026
Jieminites celebrated Teachers’ Day through a student-led programme that nurtured leadership, teamwork and confidence while expressing gratitude to the teachers.
On 3 September 2026, our Jieminites came together to celebrate Teachers’ Day and show their appreciation for the teachers who guide, inspire and support them throughout their learning journey.
Inspired by this year’s theme, “Seen and Supported, We Climb Higher Together,” our Prefects took the lead in planning and hosting the celebration. Together with our Performing Arts groups, they created a meaningful programme filled with energy, talent and heartfelt appreciation for our teachers.
Behind the celebration was also an important learning experience. Through planning and running the event, our Prefects strengthened their skills in communication, public speaking, teamwork and decision-making. They learnt to adapt when situations changed and grew in confidence as they took greater ownership of their responsibilities.
More than a celebration, Teachers’ Day gave our Jieminites an opportunity to lead, contribute and show gratitude — reminding us that when we support one another, we truly climb higher together.
