Robotics Club
Join the Robotics Club to learn robot programming using Scratch and other software, take part in competitions, and showcase your projects in school.
Our Purpose
The Jiemin Primary School Robotics Club brings together students with a keen interest in robotics, coding and technology. The club nurtures curious and confident learners who enjoy designing solutions, programming robots and taking on exciting challenges.
What We Learn
Students develop foundational coding and robotics skills through hands-on learning experiences. Using Scratch as the club’s main programming platform, members learn key coding concepts and apply them to a variety of projects and robotics games. They also learn to test, troubleshoot and improve their programmes.
Growing Our 21st Century Competencies
Through coding projects and robotics challenges, students strengthen their critical and adaptive thinking as they analyse problems, explore possible solutions and refine their designs. Working with their peers also develops communication and collaboration skills, while overcoming technical difficulties builds perseverance and confidence.
The CCA Experience
The Robotics Club offers an engaging learning experience where students experiment with coding, programme robots and work collaboratively on different projects. Members have opportunities to showcase their creations in school and experience the excitement of participating in robotics competitions. These experiences encourage teamwork, creativity and a shared passion for technology.
