Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!

On 7 August 2026, Jieminites came together to celebrate Singapore's 61st National Day with a morning of pride, reflection and celebration.

Inspired by this year's theme, "Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!", students explored Singapore's journey as a nation and reflected on how each of us can contribute to a brighter future for our country.

The celebrations began with our National Day Observance Ceremony, where students sang the National Anthem, recited the National Pledge and reflected on the significance of National Day. They also enjoyed the interactive Padang Lah! assembly programme, which brought Singapore's history to life through stories of resilience, courage and nation-building.
Beyond the celebrations, learning continued through classroom activities and the Kampung Spirit, Kampung Fun exhibition. These experiences encouraged students to appreciate the values of unity, resilience and care for one another, while reminding them that everyone has a part to play in building a stronger Singapore.
As we celebrate Singapore's 61st birthday, may every Jieminite continue to embody the spirit of Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond! and make a positive difference in our community and beyond.
